Tour de Insurtech is back

30 August 2023

Due to popular demand, the Tour de Insurtech is back!

With a dozen more riders than last year, the 2023 Tour de Insurtech will cover 345 miles (555 kilometres), and provide an opportunity for those with a background in insurance to get together to share their passion for cycling and all things insurtech.

Who?

Over 50 movers and shakers from the insurtech industry will join in on one or more of the eight stages during the 2023 tour.

Where?

The Tour de Insurtech has gone global for the 2023 edition – taking place in both the UK and USA.

There will be seven stages covered in the UK in London, Tunbridge Wells, Nottingham, Bath and Reading, and for the first time ever, we’ll also be hosting a stage in New York!

The US riders will be doing a few loops around Central Park on the same date that the UK riders will be heading to London from Reading.

What?

The Tour de Insurtech is an event organised by Genasys where we bring together industry experts to share ideas and inspirations away from the boardroom (or golf course). The riders take on as many stages as their hearts desire and legs can manage, where they talk cycling, insurance and latest tech developments and predictions. And they eat cake. At every stop.

Why?

The Tour de Insurtech originated when cycling enthusiast Andre Symes, Group CEO at Genasys, came up with an ideas as a way of bringing people from across the industry together to reconnect after many months of lockdowns during the pandemic. The event, which has quickly become an annual staple in the industry calendar, and enters its third year this year, is not just an excuse to break out the lycra. It’s also an opportunity for professionals to come together to share their passion outside of the usual conferences and calls.

When?

The 2023 tour takes place from 11 to 18 September 2023, and while entries may be closed, you can get your name on the list for the 2024 edition by emailing [email protected] and we’ll be in touch once we’ve confirmed the dates next year.
