What is your favorite activity outside of work?
I love 4×4 trails. It’s a great way to explore the outdoors and enjoy some adventure.
If you could change lives with any fictional character, who would it be, and why?
I’d choose Indiana Jones. His love for history and adventure resonates with me. There’s something thrilling about exploring the unknown and discovering new things.
What was your favorite TV show as a child?
In high school, it was The X-Files. Before that, I enjoyed shows like Airwolf, MacGyver, and The A-Team.
What is your favorite holiday destination?
It’s a tie between Nature’s Valley in the Garden Route and the banks of the Chobe River in Botswana. I love being in nature. The beauty and raw simplicity of life in the wild is very calming. When I need to re-center, I disappear into the bush for a few weeks. A campsite in the middle of nowhere is my happy place.
If you could travel back in time to your younger self, what advice would you give?
I’d tell myself that failure is a part of life; it’s how we learn and should not be avoided at all costs. The measure of a man is how you stand up when you fall, not that you have never fallen.
