Insurance software solutions provider Genasys and Simplyhealth, the UK’s leading health solutions provider, have completed the first major delivery milestone of its digital evolution programme. New policyholders will now benefit from the insurtech platform, designed to enhance the user experience.
The digital partnership will see Simplyhealth move to a single policy platform, with the eventual migration from its current insurance system to Genasys’ flagship platform in a multi-year project. The first phase of the programme has focused on the purchase and set-up of new policies, with the platform going live this summer.
Dave Exall, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Simplyhealth says: “The Genasys platform will help us continue to provide best-in-class customer experience through digital innovation. Genasys have already proven to be an excellent partner, working relentlessly to deliver the first milestone of our large-scale project.
“Our purpose at Simplyhealth is to improve access to healthcare for all and we believe our continuous digital innovation will make it ever easier for our corporate and consumer customers to interact with us – helping to provide our customers with fast and efficient access to healthcare through their Simplyhealth health plan.”
Craig Olivier, co-CEO at Genasys, who leads the Genasys team supporting the Simplyhealth digital evolution programme, says: “We are focused on being a genuine partner, cutting through the hype by simplifying technology to enable our customers to deliver fast and to succeed fast while getting it right for the end-customer. Our approach resonates with Simplyhealth as they are just as dedicated in demonstrating how they can deliver the very best experience for their customers by focusing on positive, tangible outcomes.
“The Simplyhealth brand is built upon improving access to healthcare for all and at Genasys we want to make insurance more accessible for everyone through easy, innovative technology. We believe these aligned and shared values will translate to a better experience for end customers and result in overall better business outcomes.”
