Marketing Executive

Full-Time, Permanent Hybrid Working London, UK

The companyWho we are

The Genasys story began in 1997 with a founder who recognised that software was the key to improving insurance efficiency and customer experience. We have grown into a recognised insurtech leader with over 25 years behind us, a strong foothold in South Africa and the UK, and expansion under way into international markets. Our mission is to be the preferred software solutions partner to the insurance industry across Europe, Africa and the rest of the world.

Our core values are transparency, honesty, integrity and personal accountability. Our platform is a modular, cloud-based insurance management system that can be applied to any insurance business regardless of currency, language or destination. Clients launch products faster and cut operating costs by an average of 34%, transacting over £3 billion in Gross Written Premium and managing over 1.5 million policies globally. The system has 352 pre-configured product line templates and 486 documented API endpoints.

The platform covers the entire policy lifecycle: no-code tools for wholesale and retail quote-and-bind journeys, renewals, mid-term adjustments and cancellations. It lets insurers, MGAs and brokers build customised workflows, manage complex currency, taxation and multi-language requirements across regions, and support alternative models such as parametric, micro or embedded products.

The roleAbout the role

The Marketing Executive reports to the VP of Marketing and supports keeping the marketing operation running accurately and on schedule. Under the VP of Marketing's guidance, the role covers content creation (blogs, sales collateral and case studies), event management, digital and social media management, reporting and general marketing administration. It suits someone analytical, well organised, self-motivated and a strong writer who wants to broaden into a full marketing remit inside a technology business.

Content and communications

  • Creates case studies, from identifying candidates and interviewing customers through to drafting studies and securing testimonials and approvals.
  • Supports social media management, including coordination of The Lowdown, our weekly LinkedIn newsletter: scheduling, sourcing content inputs, copy editing, publication and post-performance reporting.
  • Drafts and submits industry award entries to agreed deadlines.

Events

  • Provides full support around sponsored industry events, plus set-up and management of Genasys-owned hospitality and sales events.
  • Manages event logistics end to end, including venue and third-party coordination and attendee management from invitation through to on-the-day registration.
  • Creates event-based content: presentations, signage, email invites and promotional collateral tailored to each event.
  • Attends events to manage on-the-day delivery, acting as the on-site point of contact for logistics, attendees and third parties.
  • Writes up post-event summaries and follow-ups, capturing attendance, key outcomes and lessons learned, and coordinating post-event attendee communications.

Marketing operations and systems

  • Supports the VP of Marketing in maintaining the Confluence workspace as the single source of truth for brand assets, customer information, product specifications and the sales collateral library.
  • Keeps the marketing plan and budget tracker accurate and current, logging spend, updating activity status and flagging variances to the VP of Marketing.
  • Maintains HubSpot list segmentation, runs deduplication, updates lifecycle stages and keeps the marketing database clean.

Performance reporting and insight

  • Produces weekly and monthly performance reports covering organic and paid social, conversion data, pipeline contribution and funnel metrics, flagging anomalies and trends for review.
  • Reports on SEO and LLM visibility performance and surfaces opportunities for the VP of Marketing to assess.
  • Maintains and updates keyword lists and supporting SEO documentation.
  • Produces a monthly LinkedIn analytics report covering the Genasys company page and The Lowdown subscriber growth, with comparisons against benchmark periods.
  • Maintains a tracker of competitor activity.
  • Pulls publicly available market data from sources including MGAA reports, ABI data, FCA bulletins and Insurance Times into a monthly intelligence summary for content planning.

Sales enablement and collateral

  • Manages sales collateral day to day, refreshing assets on schedule and supporting on document design and distribution.
  • Supports RFX responses with content sourcing, formatting and version control.
