Pre-Sales Manager: London Market

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Hybrid (1 day in the office)
  • London (Lime Street)

The Genasys Story

The Genasys story began in 1997 with a founder who recognised that software was the key to improving insurance efficiency and customer experience. We have grown into a recognised insurtech leader with over 25 years behind us, a strong foothold in South Africa and the UK, and expansion under way into international markets. Our mission is to be the preferred software solutions partner to the insurance industry across Europe, Africa and the rest of the world.

Our core values are trust and transparency, honesty and integrity, personal accountability and developing our people. Our platform is a modular, cloud-based insurance management system that can be applied to any insurance business regardless of currency, language or destination. Clients launch products faster and cut operating costs by an average of 34%, transacting over £3 billion in Gross Written Premium and managing over 1.5 million policies globally. The system has 352 pre-configured product line templates and 486 documented API endpoints.

The platform covers the entire policy lifecycle: no-code tools for wholesale and retail quote-and-bind journeys, renewals, mid-term adjustments and cancellations. It lets insurers, MGAs and brokers build customised workflows, manage complex currency, taxation and multi-language requirements across regions, and support alternative models such as parametric, micro or embedded products.

About the Role

The Pre-Sales Manager helps prospects understand how the Genasys platform can support and transform their insurance operations. Working closely with the sales and marketing team, you will engage prospective clients, understand their underwriting, distribution and policy administration processes, and translate complex insurance and technology requirements into clear, tailored Genasys solutions, demonstrations and proposals.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong blend of insurance domain knowledge and technology solution experience across both general insurance and the London Market. This is a client-facing role and ideal for someone who enjoys combining consultative problem-solving with engaging storytelling around technology.

You will be accountable for:

  • Technical Sales Support & Solution Positioning
  • Product Demonstrations & Presentations
  • RFPs, Proposals & Bid Responses
  • Sales and Product Alignment
  • Market Insights & Competitor Intelligence
  • Marketing Communication & Product Messaging

What Does Good Look Like?

  • Prospects clearly understand how Genasys fits their business, and feel that their operational and technical needs were understood from the first conversation.
  • The demonstration is tailored to the prospect’s lines of business, distribution model, personas and workflows, rather than a generic walkthrough of the platform.
  • RFP, tender and questionnaire responses are accurate, compelling and delivered on time, clearly articulating Genasys’s architecture, integration capabilities, configurability and business value.
  • What we promise prospects matches what the platform can deliver, both now and on the roadmap, so clients move into implementation with realistic expectations.
  • Prospect feedback reaches the product and go-to-market teams in a structured, useful way and helps shape how the platform evolves.
  • The sales team sees you as a trusted partner who strengthens deals, and prospects see you as a credible advisor on London Market and general insurance operations.
  • Genasys’s positioning against PAS competitors stays sharp and current, informed by your understanding of the market and industry trends.

Measuring Success

  • Contribution to pipeline progression and win rates on opportunities supported.
  • Prospect and sales team feedback on the quality and relevance of demonstrations and presentations.
  • Quality, accuracy and on-time submission of RFP, tender and bid responses.
  • Smooth handover from sales to implementation, with minimal gaps between what was proposed and what is delivered.
  • Volume and quality of prospect insights fed back to product and go-to-market teams.
  • Currency of competitor and market intelligence, and its use in sales and marketing materials.
  • Growth in reusable demo assets, proposal content and positioning materials.

  • A proven passion for technology and innovation.
  • A resilient, tenacious and adaptable mindset.
